Aims and Scope

Environmental Sociology and Climate Justice (ESCJ) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing critical scholarship on the social dimensions of environmental change and the pursuit of equitable solutions to the climate crisis. The journal fosters interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of sociology, political ecology, environmental justice, and sustainability studies, with a focus on systemic inequalities, power structures, and grassroots movements shaping environmental futures.ESCJ prioritizes research that challenges dominant paradigms, amplifies marginalized voices, and explores transformative pathways toward just and sustainable societies.
